4. Objectives of the Society:
- To promote the all-round development of the Gond community.
- To achieve educational, economic, cultural, commercial, and social upliftment of the Gond community.
- To protect and preserve ancient monuments and historical heritage related to the Gond community.
- To explore and document the lives and histories of Gond kings and respected ancestors, and to promote this knowledge.
- To protect forests and wildlife associated with Gond heritage.
- To provide educational and intellectual support to economically weak and underprivileged individuals in the Gond community.
- To spread awareness and ensure the community benefits from government schemes and public welfare programs.
- To uphold the constitutional rights of the community by cooperating with central and state government authorities.
- To work toward the removal of discrimination, exploitation, and social evils affecting the Gond community.
- To promote traditional Gond rituals and culture, and to discourage extravagant practices in weddings and death rituals.
- To discourage dowry practices and child marriage and actively campaign against such customs.
- To assist the government in preserving ancient Gondwana forts, temples, palaces, and historical sites, and to establish committees for managing religious activities.
- To protect community honor and oppose anti-social practices; to conduct meetings based on democratic principles.
- To guide Gond community members in various states, districts, and blocks to adhere to the policies and decisions issued by the Mahasabha.
All income, earnings, and property of the society shall only be used for fulfilling the objectives mentioned above. No part of the society’s income shall be paid or transferred to any member through salary, honorarium, loan, or any direct/indirect benefit.
If the society is dissolved, none of the assets will be distributed among members; instead, it will be transferred according to applicable legal provisions.

Rules & Constitution of Gondwana Gond Mahasabha
1. Membership Categories
2. Application Process
Any person wishing to become a member must apply in writing.
The managing committee holds the right to accept or reject membership applications.
3. Membership Eligibility
Must be an Indian citizen
Must be 18 years or older
Must not be mentally incapacitated
Must not be a criminal or declared insolvent
4. Cancellation of Membership
A member’s membership may be canceled if:
They die or voluntarily resign
They violate society rules
They fail to pay fees
They are inactive or expelled by the committee
Membership exceeds 21 people (if limitations apply)
5. General Body Meetings
An Annual General Meeting will be held every year in April.
Members will be notified of the date and location one month in advance.
Special meetings can be called with 2/3rd majority approval.
Powers and Duties of the General Body
Approve the previous year’s financial report
Decide on the property and objectives of the society
Appoint auditors for upcoming financial year
Approve annual budget
Approve or disapprove reports and plans submitted by the managing committee
7. Managing Committee
Meets every 3 months, and at least once every 6 months
Requires 2/3 attendance for quorum
Notice must be given to all members prior to meeting
